About Liljeholmen

Liljeholmen is the district south of Liljeholmsbron, between the bay of Årstaviken and lake Trekanten: just over 18,000 residents in some 8,600 homes, a metro station since 1964 and the Tvärbanan light rail since 2000. People on the quay say Liljeholmskajen, the city says Årstadal; Sjövikstorget is the square between them, Marievik the office peninsula whose first new homes are expected in 2028, and Liljeholmstorget the transport hub with the shopping centre built over the metro.
