About Liljeholmen
Liljeholmen is the district south of Liljeholmsbron, between the bay of Årstaviken and lake Trekanten: just over 18,000 residents in some 8,600 homes, a metro station since 1964 and the Tvärbanan light rail since 2000. People on the quay say Liljeholmskajen, the city says Årstadal; Sjövikstorget is the square between them, Marievik the office peninsula being turned into housing from 2027, and Liljeholmstorget the transport hub with the shopping centre built over the metro.
