About
Half past seven on weekday mornings is when Caffè Nero opens in Liljeholmstorget Galleria, 08:00 on Saturday and Sunday; closing is at 20:00 and 19:00 respectively. The café sits on the middle one of three floors, the one at street grade, next door to Espresso House and FROST Café & Gelato, under the galleria's address Liljeholmstorget 7. The chain was founded in 1997 by Gerry Ford, remains family-owned and runs more than 800 cafés across Europe. Beans are bought directly from growers, roasted in the company's own roastery and brewed by baristas trained in-house. Food is made in the café kitchen: the menu lists a pinsa roll with cheddar and turkey pastrami, a rye roll with egg and a butter croissant, and the drinks include chai latte and the season's frappé. Ordering ahead is done with Click & Collect in the Caffè Nero app, where stamps for the loyalty card are collected too; for delivery the chain names Wolt and Foodora.
