About
Sourdough loaves on stone-ground rye flour, baked in a stone oven for a thicker crust, are what Gateau has built its name on, and the bakery bakes close to its shops rather than centrally. The Liljeholmen shop is by the underground exit in Liljeholmstorget Galleria, down on the T-bana floor with Vivels and ICA Kvantum. The landlord's page gives Monday to Friday 08–20, Saturday 09–18 and Sunday 10–18; Gateau's own store page exists but loads its hours by script. The web shop at gateau.se takes orders for, among other things, princess pastries, pain roti, forest-berry dream cake, carrot cake and seeded sourdough rolls, and the site has its own sections for catering and business customers.
