Tant Maja & Fröken Emilia

Family restaurant at Sjöviksvägen 19 near Liljeholmskajen, new for 2026: Swedish home cooking, fresh pasta, Persian stews. Under-sixes eat lunch free.

About

Three kitchens under one roof is the idea at Tant Maja & Fröken Emilia: Swedish home cooking, Italian fresh pasta and Persian stews left to cook overnight, the last one day a week. The restaurant at Sjöviksvägen 19, near Liljeholmskajen, opened around the turn of 2025/26 and is run by chef Ali and his wife Maja, who lent the place its name. The kitchen is open to the dining room so guests watch the cooking. Lunch is served from a daily menu, breakfast and home-baked fika are also on offer, and children under six eat lunch free – pens and paper are kept out for them. The website gives no opening hours but shows the lunch menu through Lunchzonen.
